Description
Officers from Twickenham CID are appealing for help in identifying a man who is believed to have fallen from the under carriage of an incoming flight to Heathrow airport on Sunday 9 September.
The man was not a member of air crew or a passenger.
Police were called at approx. 07:55hrs to Portman Avenue, East Sheen on 9 September following reports of a dead body.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and the male was pronounced dead at 08:05hrs.
The death is currently being treated as unexplained.
A post-mortem examination is due to be held at Kingston Hospital Mortuary on 11 September.
An Inquest will open and adjourn in due course.
Officers are keen to identify the man so that next of kin can be informed. He is believed to be an African male approximately 20-30 years old. He was wearing jeans, a grey hoody and white trainers.
