Car fails to stop after collision in Bexleyheath

Two people have been arrested after two pedestrians were seriously injured in a collision with a car in Bexleyheath on Sunday morning.
The car failed to stop at the scene, and police are appealing for witnesses and information.
Police were called at 0150hrs on 15 January to a silver Chrysler Voyager in collision with two pedestrians in Barnehurst Road, Bexleyheath.
Both pedestrians - a man and a woman - were taken by ambulance to a central London hospital. The 50-year-old man is in a critical condition; the 38-year-old woman is serious but stable.
The Chrysler was recovered in Northend Road, Erith, having failed to stop at the scene of the collision.
At 0625hrs on 15 January, a 32-year-old man [A] and a 33-year-old woman [B] were arrested at an address in Bexleyheath. Both were taken to a south London police station where they remain in custody.
