Description
On Saturday 11th February 2012 police were called to smoke seen coming out of a locked door.
689 Commercial road E14 is a four storey town house lived in by students. At 1am on Saturday morning police were called to the address following reports of smoke seen escaping from around the front door. Nobody was inside the property at the time and the fire spread to all four floors completely gutting three of them.
It is unknown yet how the fire started investigations are ongoing.
DS Paul Wiggett of the Violent Crime unit said, "This is a large residential property and thankfully nobody was hurt. We are appealing for anyone who has any information about the fire to contact either the violent crime unit or crimestoppers anonymously."
