Murder of woman in Barkingside area

Description
Detectives investigating a murder in Barkingside have arrested an 18 year old man [B] on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody.
Police were called shortly before 16:00hrs on Tuesday 7 February following reports of a disturbance at a flat along High Street, Barkingside.
Officers attended and discovered the body of 17-year-old, Cheryl Tariah of Dunloe Avenue N17.
Next of kin have been informed and formal identification has taken place.
A post-mortem gave cause of death as compression of the neck.
An incident room has opened at Barking under A/DCI John Nicholson (HSCC).
