Teen critical after fail to stop collision in Chiswick

Description
Traffic officers are urgently appealing for witnesses to a fail to stop collision in Chiswick on Tuesday, 9 October that has left a teenager in a critical condition in hospital.
The collision occurred at shortly before 16:15hrs on the A316 northbound, approx. 100m south of the junction with Staveley Road.
A 16-year-old boy standing on the pavement at a bus stop was struck by a nearside wing mirror of a vehicle travelling north bound.
He was taken to an east London hospital by London's Air Ambulance suffering head injuries. His condition is described as critical.
The vehicle, believed is believed to have been a 7.5 tonne or larger lorry did not stop at the scene, heading towards the Hogarth Roundabout and the A4.
Officers from the Hampton Traffic Garage are appealing for anyone who may have seen the collision or may subsequently have seen the vehicle involved.
It is believed the nearside wing mirror glass is still in place but the outer case will be missing. There were two black nearside wing mirror casings left at the scene.
