Teenager critical after road traffic collision

Traffic officers are urgently appealing for information and witnesses to a fail to stop collision in Chiswick that has left a schoolboy in a critical condition.
A CCTV image is available showing the lorry believed to have been involved in the collision.
The collision occurred at around 16.10hrs on Tuesday, 9 October, on the A316 northbound, approximately 100 metres south of the junction with Staveley Road.
A 15-year-old boy standing on the pavement at a bus stop was struck by a nearside wing mirror of a vehicle travelling northbound.
He was taken to an east London hospital by London's Air Ambulance suffering serious head injuries. His condition is described as critical.
The vehicle is believed to have been a Daf LF lorry of 7.5 tonnes or larger. The lorry did not stop at the scene, continuing on towards the Hogarth Roundabout and the A4.
Officers from the Hampton Traffic Garage are investigating, led by Detective Sergeant John Hartfree.
DS Hartfree said: "I need to hear from all those who witnessed the incident, and I am also appealing for information from anyone who can recognise the lorry involved or the company logo seen on the side of the lorry in the CCTV still.
