Bike donated to Lordship SNT
19 October 2012
Hackney’s Lordship Safer Neighbourhoods team have been donated a new bike to assist with their patrols. The bike has been kindly donated by the owner of The Spence Café, 178 Stoke Newington Church Street, N16.
On Wednesday 17th October the bike, worth £500, was officially handed over to its rider PSCO Lora Tardelli.
"This donation goes to show how we are fully supported by local businesses in the area”
The bike was bought at a discount price from London Fields Cycles, Hackney, E8 and the signage was printed by Meto Print in Stoke Newington.
PCSO Lora Tardelli, from Clissold Safer Neighbourhoods team, said: “I would like to thank Alex Spence for his company’s kind donation. This extra bike increases my visibility on the ward and allows me to cover more ground whilst out on patrol. This donation goes to show how we are fully supported by local businesses in the area.”
