Man arrested following raid by Telegraph Hill Safer Neighbourhoods Team

Telegraph Hill Safer Neighbourhoods Team conducted a drugs warrant this morning (19.01.12) at an address in Evelina Road, SE15
Acting on local intelligence they entered the address at approximately 5.30 am.
"Tackling drug use and supply is one of our ward priorities"
A thorough search of the address was carried out in conjunction with officers from the Territorial Support Group and the Dogs Unit
Inside the address cannabis was found along with drugs paraphernalia and a mobile phone believed to be stolen.
A 39 year old man was arrested for possession of Class B drugs and on suspicion of handling stolen goods.
He has been bailed pending further enquires
Police Sergeant Karl Parish, Telegraph Hill Safer Neighbourhoods Team: “We attended the address this morning following complaints by local residents about the levels of anti social behaviour taking place. Tackling drug use and supply is one of our ward priorities and people should feel confident that if they do report a problem to us, then we will take action to try and resolve it."
