Barnet Borough Police

Barnet borough, the second largest in the MPS, has a diverse population with large Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Muslim and non religious communities. Barnet borough is split into 21 wards and each ward has a dedicated Safer Neighbourhood Team.

Bromley Borough Police

Bromley is London’s largest borough covering 58 square miles and divided into 22 wards and has the largest area of countryside in London, with over half our borough being Green Belt countryside. Over 300,000 people live in 125,000 households on the borough with the north of the borough being similar in its make up to some inner London boroughs, whilst the south of Bromley has less dense housing and large areas given over to farmland.

Camden Borough Police

The London borough of Camden was created in 1965 from the former area of the metropolitan boroughs of Hampstead, Holborn, and St Pancras, which had formed part of the County of London. The borough was named after Camden Town, which had gained its name from Charles Pratt, 1st Earl Camden in 1795.

Croydon Borough Police

Croydon is one of the largest boroughs in London, is home to well over 300,000 people and is one of the largest economic centres in the south of England. Croydon police works closely with the local authority and other agencies, especially through the Safer Croydon Partnership to identify local policing priorities within Croydon and to develop and implement strategies to tackle crime and antisocial behaviour on a local level.

Enfield Borough Police

Enfield has a distinguished history being home to a Royal palace, several country houses, and five ancient monuments. Enfield police work closely with the local authority and other agencies especially through the Enfield Community Police Partnership, which identifies policing priorities within Enfield and develops and implements the strategies to be used in tackling crime and disorder on a local level.

Greenwich Borough Police

Greenwich

Greenwich is world famous for its Heritage Site and its distinguished history. The borough will host five sporting events with the eyes of the world focusing on it during the Olympic games. Police in Greenwich work closely with Greenwich Council to tackle crime and find long lasting solutions to local issues. In recent years, the police-council partnership has been particularly strong and has enjoyed a number of high profile successes in reducing all types of crimes across the borough.

Haringey is a vibrant, diverse borough benefitting from a variety of popular shopping and entertainment districts, excellent transport links and more than 600 acres of parks and open spaces, including Alexandra Palace, the birth place of television, and Finsbury Park. Haringey Police has strong links with the community, local authority and other partner agencies, working with them to find long-term solutions to tackle crime and antisocial behaviour at a local level.

Kingston Borough Police

The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames is situated on the southwest outskirts of London and has a large shopping centre and vibrant night time economy. Our aim is to work in partnership with other key agencies and the community of Kingston to ensure it remains one of the safest boroughs in London.

Lewisham is home to a vast population of young people and has undergone some regeneration with a shopping centre located in Lewisham High Street. The borough has a varied landscape with some leafy suburbs. Lewisham Police work closely with the local authority and other agencies such as the Lewisham Community Police Consultative Group to discuss aspects of policing, community safety and related issues which matter to the communities of Lewisham.


 

Newham Borough Police

Newham is the most diverse and vibrant borough in London, playing host to the likes of the Olympic Stadium and Westfield shopping centre. Newham Police work closely with partners and the community to tackle anti-social behaviour and crime on a local level. Making a difference in neighbourhoods is our priority and officers are committed in their strive to continue to make Newham a safer place to live and work.

Redbridge Borough Police

Redbridge

Redbridge is the 9th largest London borough by area at 5,641 hectares and a quarter of Redbridge is covered with forest and parklands. The largest and most distuinguished park surrounds Valentines Mansion. Built in 1696 for the widow of the Archbishop of Canterbury, the park contains a walled garden, kitchen gardens and a boating lake with wildlife.

Richmond upon Thames is the only London Borough spanning both sides of the River Thames, with river frontage of 21 miles. Richmond Police work closely with the local authority and other agencies especially through the Richmond Community Safety Partnership which identifies Policing priorities within Richmond upon Thames and develops and implements the strategies to be used in tackling crime and disorder on a local level.
