Charity Collections within the Metropolitan Police District
A permit is required by anyone collecting money or selling articles for charitable purposes in a public place and it is an offence to hold a collection without one. Permits are issued in London by the Commissioner of Police. The rules governing their issue and the conduct of collections are contained in regulations made by the Secretary of State.

Notice to Film in London
If your photography, media project, TV, or feature film is likely to affect public safety or likely impact on traffic, contains pseudo-liveried emergency vehicles or actors in police or contemporary military uniforms, crime enactments viewable from a public place or third party location, weapons viewable/audible from a public place or third party location, nudity or perceived nudity viewable from a public place or filming while on the move then you can nofity the Met using the notice to film.
